The family business was started in 1955 and is going strong today. Strichen's multi-award winning butcher prides itself on its high standards and excellence of products. Living in the beautiful countryside of Scotland, with lots of lush grazing for the animals, can only be of great benefit to the way our meat tastes and is produced.
Local Customers: we have a wide variety of local customers, from retail, wholesale, deep freeze and independent shops in and around Buchan. We use our own vans for delivery to local customers.
Courier Deliveries: to ensure that your order reaches you in premium condition, your items will be individually vacuum packed and placed within an insulated cool box with frozen gel-packs. The packaging conforms to BSI standards.
Order and Despatch Deadlines: We process orders for despatch on Thursday's. The deadline for receipt of orders is 11pm on Tuesday. Your order will be despatched by courier for delivery within 24 hours. It is very important that someone will be at the delivery address to take receipt of your order. Packages will only be left in unattended places on your specific instructions and at your own risk - you can state your instructions when placing the order.
Delivery Charges: UK Mainland up to 10 kgs. - £11.50 then £0.60 per kilo. Special rates may apply for Northern Ireland and UK island destinations.

All products are supplied fresh and despatched in chill boxes for delivery the next day. Import regulations for food, delivery times and courier costs are all barriers to despatch outside the UK. Sorry!
